About Sacramento Dance Center
In 2011, ballroom enthusiasts Bill and Bobbi Roth founded Sacramento Dance Center to provide a welcoming place for Sacramentans to enjoy ballroom dancing. After years of bringing quality instruction and friendly social dance to the Sacramento dance community, they turned ownership over to Evgeny and Victoria Malko. Evgeny and Victoria have been with Sacramento Dance Center since its beginning, and seek to honor the legacy of the founders, continue to provide excellent training and a friendly atmosphere, and make Sacramento Dance Center an exceptional place to dance.

Hear it From the Dancers
Best place to go dancing in Sacramento. Biggest & best dance floor in the area. They serve wonderful refreshments at all their social dances. Dances are on Fri. nights, & Tea dances on Sunday and Wednesday afternoons. Wednesday dance is for dancers who love to have fun, be with like minded people, dance to fun ballroom music. They do theme dances occasionally. If you haven't been yet, please try it soon. They are undergoing some changes that promise your best dance experience yet.
Best ballroom dance studio in the Sacramento area! I am a competitive Latin dancer, and Sacramento Dance Center (SDC) has the best Pro-Am instructors I have ever worked with. Also, the Smooth instructor, Genya, and his Professional partner, Anna, were recently finalists in Blackpool! Lots of talent here and a beautiful studio with many dance rooms.
Great place to learn how to swing dance. I really like the instructor for the west coast swing dance class on Monday nights. Very skilled and the dance moves are very useful and fun. No social dancing after the lesson is over, so I have to practice at other venues.
Unlike other studios, Sacramento Dance Center's classes are 55 min. to 1 full hour. The weekly Sunday Newcomer class from 4:30 to 6 PM is a fantastic deal for people who want to learn to social dance quickly, since a supervised practice session after the 1 hour class is included in the price of only $8. Staff and regular customers are very friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful. The teachers really care about the students' progress. Their special events are full of fun. What's more do you want in a dance studio? Sacramento Dance Center is BAR-NONE!
Top notch instruction from excellent teachers who are also amazing dancers and wonderful people. If you've ever wanted to dance, this is a great place to take your first steps... and if you're looking to improve your dancing or you're looking to add to your dancing arsenal, it's also a great place to work on achieving those goals. I've had both group and private lessons with Aleksei, Victoria, and Genya. They never disappoint! 😊
